In addition to her studies at Vanderbilt, Blythe studied at the Institute of European Studies, in Vienna, Austria. There, she had the opportunity of working with Ulrike Anton, and with Barbara Gisler-Haase, at Universiteat fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. While an undergraduate, Blythe performed with various chamber ensembles and toured China with the university's orchestra. I like to show videos of high level playing and introduce a wide variety of genres and styles while I find exactly what it is that inspires the student to play.
