I like using flashcards, so students can quickly develop their site-reading. I use different techniques that meet the individual capacity of the students and adults. For intermediate and advanced students I prefer scales, etudes (exercises), sonatas, concertos and solo pieces of their preference. I set realistic goals for each student depending on their starting point. Assessing where each student is with their playing is the most important aspect of teaching.
