I graduated from Jacobs School of Music with a degree in classical flute performance. Sometimes, I recommend material to watch and listen for getting ideas how to master instruments because it's important to know great examples of pro-instrumentalists as much as possible. I began teaching privately in high school- mainly teaching my younger fellow students. During college I taught at two private lesson studios in New Jersey. I expanded the instruments I offered there, and met students young and old, and over time, I learned how different people of different ages and backgrounds learned and understood music. I have been teaching for 5 years in both private lesson situations and and group lesson situations. I enjoy teaching beginner piano and flute and teaching all levels on the clarinet and saxophones.
