As a product of "the system", I generally teach "the system". By that I mean that in the education system here in Texas has been teaching this same way for years and years. After a year or two learning the fundamentals, scales and phrasing, then one gets to study the Ferling etudes for region band and a few basic solos for solo and ensemble. Im Bailee! Im a dedicated and passionate flute player. I am currently a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in Flute Performance! I was in marching band from 2015-2022 at both my high school and my university. Throughout high school, I regularly did All-Region auditions, State Solo and Ensemble, joined flute choirs, and attended summer camps for my instrument. As for university, I have won scholarships for the Texas Flute Society, have participated and performed at the Texas Flute Society festival, and I am currently playing in the UTA Symphony Orchestra. I have taught privately in my home state of Wisconsin for many years and for the past two years I have been teaching piano and voice at studios in Chicago and Wisconsin.
