Im Bailee! Im a dedicated and passionate flute player. I am currently a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in Flute Performance! I was in marching band from 2015-2022 at both my high school and my university. Throughout high school, I regularly did All-Region auditions, State Solo and Ensemble, joined flute choirs, and attended summer camps for my instrument. As for university, I have won scholarships for the Texas Flute Society, have participated and performed at the Texas Flute Society festival, and I am currently playing in the UTA Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Music Education (EC-12). While I was there, I performed with the premier ensembles such as the UTA Jazz Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and the UTA Symphony Orchestra. I made region band every year after that and earned 1st divisions on all my ensembles and solos. I played 1st tenor in the jazz band in High School and started to think I could do this for a long time. I got a scholarship to UTA and marched with them for a few years while I concentrated on classical saxophone and studied jazz. Read More

Since most of the students I teach are members of a band program, I make sure that most of my lessons are based on what is being learned at school. Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. Constant acknowledgement of their progress each lesson the student more eager to learn.
