I love playing the flute and being able to share my passion with others. I earned my BM in 2007 from Florida State University. There were so many wonderful playing opportunities here and as an undergraduate I was playing in the top orchestra. I was also a member of the world renown Marching CHIEFS where I served as section leader to 50 plus flute players. I began teaching flute lessons when I was in my undergraduate degree. I had private students from local high schools in Iowa City. I then was selected to be the flute instructor at a New Horizon's Band Program. In this program, I taught flute choir to retired adults twice each week, and some of them became my private students.
