The first few lessons will focus on discovering our goals as one team: student, teacher and parents. We will have an open conversation about specific aspects of the flute and music that each student would like to improve as well as identifying their strengths. I use a variety of teaching methods, based on my own experience as a performer that I gained throughout long years of international education. I usually start my beginner students with Flute 101 Mastering the Basics method book, followed with the selection of scales and technical exercises of my creation and a repertoire selection (including etudes) matching the skills progression. Therefore, when I start with a student, I always ask how much they want to improve and how quickly, how important music is to them, and how much time they're willing to invest daily. My work has taken me all over the world, from exotic, global itineraries on board 5-star cruise ships, to the some of the top music venues in New York City, as well as the homes and classrooms of many satisfied students.
