This was part of my therapy after open heart surgery and a mini stroke.. My Masters Degree -Flute Performance is from The University of Michigan where I studied with Leone Buyse as a full scholarship student.While in Michigan, I had a large studio of private students in many local high schools.I taught at college music preparatories and privately while in Cleveland, Ohio where I studied with piccoloist William Hebert at Baldwin Wallace College Conservatory of Music, also under scholarship. For students who are already in an instrumental program through school, I will start with whatever method book they are using at school, and branch off from there. Depending on the instrument, I will bring in another method book specific to that instrument book and we will also use some sort of etude book. My main instrument is the flute, which I have been playing for twelve years now, but I also am a vocalist and play most instruments in the woodwind family.--I graduated from Morehead State University in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Music Education and have been teaching ever since.
