Hello, My name is England N. and I am a passionate and a self-motivated Music Teacher who has a joy working with students from all backgrounds. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Music Education (EC-12). For beginners, I use Rebecca Simonfalvi's called "Potential Contender." It is geared for young children starting out in band. For adults, I generally move between Trevor Wye's "Beginners book for the flute" or the Rubank Elementary Method. If needed, especially with the young, I generally have my students take notes of lessons. I also teach basic theory to give students a deeper understanding of the music. For the advanced student, the focus becomes about fine-tuning fundamentals, and learning repertoire that will propel them forward to the next level. Read More
