I usually start my beginning piano students who are children, in Alfred's Basic Piano Library, Lesson Book 1A. After a few months, I begin adding solo repertoire that is appropriate for age and ability. For middle school age students and adults, I start with Alfred's Basic Piano, Adult, Level 1. I am a musician, composer, and educator seeking to share my musical knowledge with students who are eager to learn. I was born into a musical family, and was exposed to great music from an early age. I began playing the piano when I was eight, picked up the saxophone at ten, and have been playing flute and clarinet now for about six years.
