I have been steadily teaching private lessons since I was at Berklee, nearly 10 years ago. I almost always have taught lessons at my own studio where students come to me because that always seems to be the most conducive environment for learning and getting inspired. I've taught complete beginners at the toddler age, and even retired people in their 70s. I understand that all students do not learn the same way. So, I am prepared to teach every student through auditory, visual, or written instructions, or a combination of those methods. I believe that it important for a student to learn how to read music, but I also understand that not all students will have this interest. I am a patient, encouraging, and fun teacher! In 2016 I graduate from The Collective School of Music in NYC with a Diploma in Music and Professional Drummer Performer. Having multiple influences and had studied with different teachers allows me to teach students of all ages and levels.
