Since, I have played for multiple different artists, on multiple major record labels. I have also worked with some of the world's leading producers, the men behind songs you hear every day on the radio, as a studio drummer and/or bass player. Artists ranging from Aly AJ on Disney Channel to spaced-out mixed symphonic electronica with Paul Oakenfold, the English DJ legend. This not only builds confidence but is an invaluable source of feedback that I find is often overlooked. I have been a very active performing drummer for the past 20 years. I recorded three albums that were released worldwide with my band Scelerata. I did five Brazilian tours (50+ shows) as Paul DiAnno’s (former Iron Maiden’s lead singer) official drummer, from 2009 to 2014. My teaching experience dates back to my time in college as I spent many hours working with high-school marching bands and giving individual lessons on drum set and battery percussion. Once I moved to Los Angeles, the focus of my teaching switched to private lessons in students homes and rented studio spaces. After graduating from the Los Angeles College of Music, I was asked back as a substitute to teach their sight reading classes, to assist in styles classes such as Rock and Jazz, and as an assistant running the console in their "Recording for Musicians" class. For ages 6 to 8, I offer Musical Safari, an overview of many instruments with basis in theory, solfege and reading, helping children and parents make the right choice of instruments based on the student's interest. For adult voice I favor the clippinger method added to my choir master experience where besides the technique, I customize the songs you want to learn with personalized arrangements in your most comfortable key.
