I have taught privately over the summer of 2014-2016 orchestral percussion and marching band. I am the current percussion director for Middletown High School. Along with that, over the summer I also teach the front ensemble for Washington High School. And am currently teaching front ensemble for Western Frederick Indoor Percussion. Nothing is more important to me than seeing my students develop their passion for drums and music in general.I think its essentially to go at his/hers own pace. And encounrage each to reach their goal for that lesson. Acknowledging when the student is progressing, attentive and eager to keep on learning. I have been teaching for 10 years on various levels. I've taught part-time in high schools as a college student, music stores, as well as privately. I love to build a curriculum that is specific to each student's needs. I.e. I like to work with students and help them reach the goals that they have set for themselves.
