I'm an experienced instructor and drummer from Silver Spring, Maryland. I have been playing the drums since age six and I have been teaching drum lessons since I was fifteen. I have preformed and recorded with many different bands of many different styles of music throughout my musical career. For beginning students, I usually start with rudimental percussion grips and playing. I usually go off of Stick Control. Once the student has progressed further, I will judge how far along they are and customize they're learning abilities with their exercises and repertoire to learn. For adults, I try to find what genres they are interested and see how far along they are technique and music wise. I like to cater all of my teaching styles to each individual. Read More

I've taught at community centers, afterschool programs, and music stores since graduating in 2008, and started my own home studio about 2 years ago.
