While attending Berklee, I had countless one-on-one and small group sessions with fellow drummers where we would bounce ideas off one another and give each other "mini lessons," breaking down specific grooves and licks. I am an easy going person and I like to teach with a laid back style. I understand that not all students learn the at the same pace which is why I bring an individual approach to all of my students. I like to bring in different ideas and listen to different examples of rhythms and genres and really break down how each one works so that I may be able to find another way to make a groove not only fit into and example, but feel like it was made for that moment.
