For Beginner students I would start with the Frederick Noad Classical Guitar book. This book is a great book to hold interest in the Students. This Book teaches Basics, but gets right down and dirty in to learning music. The Music in the book starts with simple Melody for the student, with some advanced part underneith to give the allusion to a young beginning student they are achieving greatly. This tactic helps harness the musical drive in a student. Read More

Im a composer and musician, and I love learning and teaching how music works. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego in 2018 with a Bachelors in Music composition and have been making and teaching music ever since. I started guitar and drum lessons when I was ten years old, motivated by the joy of rocking out and expanded to classical instruction in highschool. I love to bring that rock-out spirit to my classical experiences and incorporate classical strategy and awareness to my popular musical expressions. Read More

As I said above, my biggest priority is to guide the student on their journey to discovering the music that they would like to play and create. When I was first learning, it was a struggle to unlock my own creativity and become daring enough to play my own music in front of others. Luckily, I had amazing instructors who helped me break out of my shell and find my confidence. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I spend my time teaching drums, recording drums and playing drums for local artists/bands. While in Los Angeles I performed with many independent artists and also had the privilege to work with some well know artists, such as Scott Shriner of Weezer, Nikki Sixx of Mtley Cre, and The Blue Man Group. As a teacher, my main goal is to see my students succeed and grow as a musician at their own pace. I focus on improvement and progress. I like to challenge my students with new material every week and new techniques. Even though every week we will be learning new things, I help my students grasp the concepts that I teach before we move to the next step. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing students experience the joy of making music and playing. Read More
