I learned during my time that if I wasn't having fun in my lessons it turned into a less enjoyable task. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education/Jazz Vocal Performance. I have had opportunities to perform with Latin Artists like Juanes and perform at Carnegie Hall. I was the only freshmen selected in the top University of Miami Chorale and I have also performed with professional a cappella groups in NYC where I have arranged music and done vocal percussion. I've been teaching drums and percussion since 2005, back in Venezuela I was part of the teaching staff for "El Sistema" and also was the head of the Jazz percussion department at "El Taller de Jazz Caracas" one of the most prestigious music schools in Venezuela. In addition, I've been teaching private student for more than 10 years, from different ages and backgrounds.
