Instruments: Voice

My teaching experience dates back to high school, when I began mentoring students that studied with my voice teacher at the time, Dr. Andrea Saposnik. My teachers have instilled in me the importance of healthy singing that is sustainable and can last you a lifetime. It's a marathon, not a sprint! In lessons we will work with exercises to show you the full potential of your instrument. I place a lot of importance on my students knowing HOW to make the sound they want to make, not merely on imitation. Read More

I encourage, when applicable, parent participation, their help and support but if these positives are missing, I found a way to redeem the situation and that resulted in tremendous self-esteem boost of my piano pupils. I'm a dedicated teacher who wants to give students the tools to succeed in all aspects of music. I don't just train players to hit the right notes, I teach theory, ear training skills, and everything else. Students with these skills are more capable of succeeding in playing music, and have a more versatile set of abilities that allows them to do more than recite what's on the page. I specialize in Classical Guitar, but I am willing and able to teach more popular styles as well. Read More
