Saxophone/flute: Any beginning band method book or standard beginning to intermediate woodwind book. Appropriate repertoire. Piano: I use most beginning methods, including Alfred, Bastien, Piano Adventures (Faber), and other standard piano methods. I love to watch my students grow as they take to improve on technique, tone and etc. I give students homework to practice and encourage regular practicing. Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice.
