I am an organized teacher and lessons are structured to accommodate technique development and fun solo work. Each month we will set a goal, and build a weekly plan to get you to accomplish that goal. I ask students to keep a journal of their goals and practice time focus so we can measure how we're working to our goal. I have performed in ensembles, for weddings and special events, and provided accompaniment services to other musicians. I will guide them through what the book cannot explain and help them truly internalize aspects of playing their instrument. For more advanced players, we will work on tone, advanced technique, new styles as well as history, modern practices and more.
