I am a clarinet teacher and performer with many years of experience who highly skilled at promoting creative expression among students of all ages. In 2009, I graduated from Roosevelt University ( orchestral studies program). Prior coming to the US in 2007 I graduated from Moscow State Classical Academy Maimonid ( Masters degree). In 2004, while I was in school I won an Associate Principal clarinet position with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. I am not a teacher who uses specific method books. I use books based on the student's musical preferences or sometimes none at all. A good technique is always emphasized. My area of expertise is Sight Reading. This is an essential aspect of learning to play any instrument. A good sight reader is always able to learn their pieces faster and be better performers.
