I use both the french methods Klose and Druet because they cover a lot of the needed technique but I treat each case differently depending on the students needs and aspirations. They are many ways of achieving a good technique while learning music and training our ears. I have developed my own method through the years. You will not only learn how to play the saxophone but you will also learn how to improvise in different styles based on the tradition of blues and jazz while better understanding melodies and harmony.
