In order for students to grow, discovery on their part needs to happen through guided questioning.  Shows I have recently performed includes Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat and Gypsy. Whilst in London, I spent my last two years working with young people of various ages. I worked alongside passionate colleagues to present group musical workshops that may have focused on sound, percussion, composition or with full ensembles. Some of these workshops lasted a day while others lasted a few months. I was also asked by the Royal College of Music Junior Department, who worked with talented musicians aged below 19 or pre-college, to assist in teaching flute students as well as small ensembles. I began playing cello in elementary school and started teaching cello lessons while I was in middle school. I love to teach and share music with my students. I graduated Manhattan School of Music in 1977  and proceeded to get my Masters degree and teaching certificate. I would best describe my teaching style as "Learn how to have fun playing music, simply." I am thankful for being blessed with an ability to hear how my student plays and quickly and accurately prescribe a simple fix to get over hurdles.
