During the 2015-16 season, I completed a tour with pianist Amanda Zook (Cosme-Zook Duo), performing in New York City, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and Canada. These concerts were sponsored by Project 142 and themselves. As an educator, I teach at the Escuela de Música de Manatí. There I teach flute, flute choir, and wind ensemble. Also, I hold the teacher's assistant position given by my mentor Josué Casillas. I have a wide variety of exercises/books/recordings that are guided to help the student reach their maximum potential. In particular, I specifically focus on sound, technique, reading, simulating performance scenarios, school auditions, recitals, and improvisation. He spent his formative years as a classical cellist and picked up jazz saxophone at age 15. Since 15, he has been primarily a saxophone player and music producer, with a passion for the progression of Black American Music. He has toured with both Bobby Watson and Bobby Broom and performed with artists such as Sean Jones, Tim Green, Brandon Woody, Fredrick Sanders, Frank Lacy, Ameen Saleem, Quincy Phillips, Kris Funn, Marshall Gilkes, and Christian McBride.
