From the second I was handed a clarinet on my 10th birthday, I knew that I wanted to spend my life playing music. I loved it so much that I even chose to go to music school on Saturdays (!!!) every week from 7th to 12th grade. Those moments were crucial for developing what I want to be doing: infusing music lessons with music theory and composition. I have been teaching for 5 years in both private lesson situations and and group lesson situations. I enjoy teaching beginner piano and flute and teaching all levels on the clarinet and saxophones. I have taught in both the classical and jazz idioms. I have taught as young as seven and as old as seventh and I enjoy seeing what curious students bring to the lesson.
