I often encourage my students to bring in music that they would like to learn because working on music that you are inspired by and excited about encourages practicing (the same goes for me too!). I've been teaching in the greater Los Angeles area for almost 20 years, teaching students from ages 4 - 92 (yes, really! 92!).
