They caught on to my personality and knew I wanted the best for them. This ultimately drove them to be better musicians. I have had many students continue to play when they entered college just for fun and a way of meeting people with similar interests. I have been proudly teaching general and instrumental music in the Cleveland Public Schools for the last twenty-three years. During that time I had a few students who were just beginning to play saxophone and clarinet. Taught and performed for for 30 years... But seeing and hearing is believing, I've posted a video of me playing ajazz demonstration of a Hubert Laws composition.. This was part of my therapy after open heart surgery and a mini stroke..
