I have recently moved to the beautiful state of Florida, and love it here! New Mexico was my home prior to moving here. I have performed in many ensembles, and do solo recitals annually. My performance experience includes Symphony Orchestras, Pit Orchestras, Wind Ensembles, Chamber Music, Polka Band, Latin Band, Big Band, and I have been a guest soloist on several occasions. Since I used to be a middle school band director, I am extremely familiar with the teaching beginners. I customize all lessons to each student's goals. After students have passed through the fundamentals, we will work out of the Rubank intermediate or advanced books for technique development. I am a professional saxophonist/flutist in central Florida who gigs over 200+ dates a year. I freelance with original bands, wedding and corporate groups. I play in jazz, funk, RB, reggae, soul, rock, songwriter, classical and world music styles. I received my A.A. in Music Performance at Valencia College in Orlando (2012) before becoming the music tutor there for one school year from 2012-2013.
