I currently work as a pianist for various Ballet companies and have studied music performance at the Juilliard School and San Francisco Conservatory of music. I completed my Master's degree at Tbilisi State Conservatoire under the guidance of Prof. Tamara Gabarashvili (Tchaikovsky competition 5th prize 1966). Since 2004 until 2015 I was a principal cellist of Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theater. Since 2004 I am teaching private cello lessons and also working at music schools and pre-school places, and I am also a member of a string quartet "Iberi." I do this by assigning exercises and material that will be both rewarding and fun for the student. I also set timely goals so that they have something to look forward to in their next lesson. I also try to give the student time at the end of the lesson to improvise, which ensures ending on a positive note.-Students aged 7-13 always a quick Q&A regarding music studies in school if they are participating in the school's music program. In 2013 I earned a Master of Music from New York University and have been playing in solo shows, ensembles, and recordings since. I've also maintained a growing teaching career by holding adjunct cello appointments at NYU and the Abrons Arts Center.
