Cellist Minjung Kang was born and raised in South Korea. At age of 7, she began her music studies in piano and won multiple awards in piano competitions by the age of 9 such as Piano competitions hosted by famous piano manufacturing companies in Korea such as Samick and Young Chang. At age of 11, she had her first piano recital at Hoam Performing Art Center as the award of the competition. She picked up her first cello at age of 11, and studied under Kuk Rok Park, one of the most famous cellists in Korea. Read More

I like to use guitar books if at all possible for beginners because its a great place to start. There, I am responsible for teaching both group and private lessons to grades 2-7 of the school.
