Depending on experience level I like to get people making music as soon as possible. I know that trudging through the basics can be tiring. Of course some basics are neccesary but I like to make the basics sound as musical as possible. We will cover the fundamentals but we'll do so in such a way that it won't feel like so much work. My teaching method varies depending on their age. From 4 years to 8 years i use an advance learning method, which consists of developing reading and playing based on color coding music notes. For people 9 and up the method i use is the traditional method from the Cuban and Spaniard school. This consists of developing the three characteristics of a musician.
