After graduating I toured the Western US with the indie/soul group Hello Dollface. For most beginner students, I introduce open chords and basic single note playing, eventually leading to chord progressions and basic classic rock riffs. Beyond this, I always tailor my teaching to a student's tastes, as I know the best way to engage a student and keep them excited is to show them how to play their favorite music!
