If need be, I use certain books to supplement my lessons and for personal at home practice. Normally I only recommend books to students that want to further their understanding and ability in sight-reading, drawing from my own experiences learning from various books and online sources. I began teaching guitar while in high school, and have had students consistently since 2002. During college I taught private guitar lessons both in Grand Rapids and Ypsilanti Michigan. After graduating I begam teaching guitar, audio engineering, and music business at Grand Rapids Community College. From 2009-2016 I was an instructor for a teen music program myself and other members of The Outer Vibe started called "Rock Camp."
