Depending on the answer, I may start the student with tape on the fretboard, under the strings, outlining the chords for a guitar player. Jake has been playing guitar and percussion for over 20 years. He teaches all levels of guitar and congas, as well as beginning piano, voice and drum set. Setting both short and long term goals with the student helps me understand what they want out of lessons.
