In High School, my music practice skills carried over to my academic studies and I was able to graduate with Honors, a 4.00, and earn 14 scholarships to attend college to become a musicteacher. For most beginner students, I introduce open chords and basic single note playing, eventually leading to chord progressions and basic classic rock riffs. Beyond this, I always tailor my teaching to a student's tastes, as I know the best way to engage a student and keep them excited is to show them how to play their favorite music! I am an experienced Musician and Teacher in Denver Colorado. I have been playing music for 15 years. Guitar is my primary instrument but also plays Piano/Keys, Bass, and I'm an audio engineer. I recently graduated with a music degree from CU Denver. Later I formed the funk/soul band Bacon and as the bandleader I wrote much of the music, and managed the band. We recorded a self-titled EP and received a grant from the Durango Arts Center to produce the album.Currently I am performing in the country duo H and H music, the pop duo Spacecat, and a funk and Motown cover band.Ihave relocated to Denver from Durango CO and am blessed withall the opportunities that the City of Denver has to offer.
