Since graduating with my Masters in Cello Performance in 2005 from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, I have been consistently teaching. Most of my teaching for the past 13 years has been going to students' homes. I also encourage the students to participate in yearly recitals and local community engagements throughout the year. Other operatic role experience of mine includes ensemble member and Adele (cover) in Die Fledermaus, Jenny Slade in Roman Fever, and Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflte at Carnegie Mellon. I have also performed as a soloist with the Carnegie Mellon University choir and the CMU Singers chamber group. This past December I was the soprano soloist in the Faur Requiem with the Carnegie Mellon University choir. In addition, I have attended the Redwoods Opera Workshop, the Savannah Voice Experience Festival, and the International Vocal Arts Institute where I performed the role of Le Converse in Suor Angelica and was a soloist on several concert programs. I teach out of my home studio in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, as well as through Zoom to students worldwide. I have both a Master's and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where I was concertmaster of the Conservatory Orchestra and the recipient of the full-ride Sergei Barsukov Violin Scholarship. For violin, viola, and cello lessons I typically use a few different method books and handout sheets for the first few lessons, and then switch to using Suzuki books once the basic concepts have been mastered. For ukulele students I try to find out what the student is interested and tailor their lessons to include the types of songs they want to learn to play. Read More

I recently graduated from the Mannes School of Music in New York City with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, studying with Rebecca Fischer. I grew up in Northern Virginia and started the violin and piano when I was 3 years old. Since moving to New York, I have had the privilege to perform at Carnegie Hall with the Grammy Award Winning New York Youth Symphony, and Lincoln Center with the Mannes Orchestra, holding Concertmaster positions with both ensembles.
