I love seeing my students gain passion and find success when they learn a riff or a chord, because I know how I felt when I did it. It inspires you to learn more. I like to use the method of telling them something they did fantastic, something they could work on and end on something they really did awesome on. I want to know what inspires the student and what they want to play. Read More

For children, I keep it simple and fun, using a variety of methods to help them not only learn a song/songs, but the fundamentals of music reading, and theory. For older individuals, I prefer to work with their interests, and work towards their goals, through tailored lessons. I use a wide variety of styles, and challenge students to look outside their comfort zone-on occasion- to give them a larger repetoire that they may not have thought of. Read More

I have experience with all populations and ages, allowing me to share the gift of music with anyone and everyone! I taught elementary school for a full year and now work with middle school aged students. While this is my first experience working one-on-one with students, I am teaching over 100 students each day in my choir program to be the best musicians they can be! Read More
