I assist students in improving their singing for original music they have written as well as their favorite songs by other artists that they love to sing. While I do teach students to read music and teach the theory behind tunes and compositions that we learn, I think that the MOST important element in anyone's pursuit of musical proficiency lay in the ability to connect what one hears to what one plays. Ear training therefore is a large component.
