I have experience teaching music all over the world. I have travelled to Canada, Russia, and Swaziland to work with children. I have taught guitar, voice, and general music lessons to those children. Additionally, I have been teaching guitar lessons here in the States for over two years. I love teaching music and think that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to quality music education. I am a driven player who believes ardently in the practice of fundamentals and the accuracy of intonation. I auditioned for the U.S Army Band in 2004 and spent 10 years traveling with the group. During this time, I played venues all over the world, including Japan, Korea, Germany, and Iraq among others, and learned to play many different styles of music. Since then, I have been studying with several esteemed musicians from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and I hope to impart the lessons I have learned upon my students. Read More

I began maintaining a private voice and piano studio in New Jersey in 2008 while still studying at music conservatory. I worked with a wide range of ages. After I got married, we relocated to Westchester, NY, where I have continued a full teaching and performing career. My active performing career informs my teaching and continues to build my knowledge of vocal technique, repertoire, style, language, and musicianship.
