I began teaching during my Masters. I have taught at the Forte Music School in Toledo, and a few lessons privately. Now that I have graduated I plan on taking more time to dedicate to building my voice studio. I thrive on making a fun, warm, comfortable environment for my students. I began teaching youth choirs right after graduating High School. With excellent instruction, I began a more studied teaching approach through my pedigogy class at Central Michigan University. Also, I helped my fellow classmates prepare for their performances. I am beginning to teach privately after continuing my vocal study with a Vocal Coach in the Detroit area. During my undergraduate career, I taught lessons to vocal and piano students in the Chicago area. I truly loved working with those students, and I am looking forward to getting back into teaching now that I have settled in Bowling Green. The students that I had in the past immensely inspired me, and I always left lessons feeling positive and hopeful.
