I started teaching voice while at Millikin University. My first job teaching upon graduating was at the Schaumburg Academy of Music, where I taught children through adults. Other schools I taught at include Dancenter North in Libertyville, and Montessori of Hoffman Estates. I spend about a third of the lesson on specific technique work and I always encourage students to bring in their own material that we can work on as well.
