In 2017, I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Music, concentration in Classical Voice. From there Ive been working on my masters at the University of Bridgeport in Music Education. I will obtain that degree in December of 2019. My method of teaching is centered around building technique and encouraging hard work, all whilst finding the inspiration within and keeping my students excited to learn.  In the first lesson, I have the student bring me a list of goals and then prepare future lessons individually tailored to their needs.  I teach vocal and breathing technique, repertoire and interpretation.  I also provide exercises that help tackle performance anxiety for those that need help with this common problem.  For my jazz students, I also offer the opportunity to learn improvisation and scatting.  Read More

In class I work on the development of the singing voice through body awarenessapplying the Feldenkrais Methodand voice techniques from the worlds of classical, jazz and contemporary music. Aural awareness is improved through ear exercises singing. Techniques for performance practice and dealing with performance anxiety are addressed. If the student has little experience in music literacy, this is a great place to start and we can further explore where their interest in music lies.
