During my undergraduate career, I taught lessons to vocal and piano students in the Chicago area. I truly loved working with those students, and I am looking forward to getting back into teaching now that I have settled in Bowling Green. I have been passionate instructor and have been playing multi instruments for 15+ years. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and work as an ABA Therapist for autistic children. I have been in multiple bands and recorded a lot of songs. I have toured Michigan and the outer areas. I have had the opportunity to play at the Majestic Theater in Detroit, as well as St. Andrew's. I always ask my students what their goals are, both short and long term. This then gives me a good outline of how I expect our lessons to go. My biggest goal is not just for my students to grow and progress but also to have fun! We sing because we love it, and it gives us joy to do it and share it with others. I began teaching 17 years ago while completing my Master of Arts degree in Voice Performance.I have passion for teaching students of all ages the fundamentals of singing. These include breathing, posture, and mouth position.These fundamentals stand students in good stead to sing whatever style they choose for the rest of their lives.
