I began teaching private lessons back in undergrad. I found that I really enjoy getting to know someone one-on-one, and I think I'm particularly effective at figuring out how to communicate knowledge, create art and inspire on that level! The experience of my students has run the gamut; I've taught 5-year old and 65-year old beginners, I've taught students who already have an undergrad degree in music. I am a graduate of The Manhattan School of Music, earning both my Bachelor and Master of music degrees. I have performed as a recitalist, in operas and as soloist with orchestra. I have performed locally and abroad, specifically the many Halls at Lincoln Center, The United States Capitol, and in the Rudulfinum Hall in Prague. I love performing and teaching. I do this because it allows the student to take to fundamentals and gives them the tools to get creative with the knowledge that they already have.
