I first started teaching when I was 17 years old. Then I went to college for training into this area of teaching. I was also involved with the Bradley University Chorus. Some of my teachers included Ralph Nielsen, father of Rick Nielsen of the group Cheap Trick, Mary Weyhrich, Marilyn Cade, and Jan Wanach. While in NYC, I had the opportunity to perform in New York Lyric Opera Theatre's Carnegie Hall Opera Gala 2015 and DiMenna Center Opera Shows 2016. During my studies at NYU Steinhardt, I was seen onstage in three operatic productions and was a First Round Finalist of the Classical Singer Vocal Competitions in 2015 2016.
