I graduated with my Bachelors of Music from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. I am currently finishing his Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Lenoir-Rhyne as well. While at Lenoir-Rhyne I was involved in a various amount of ensembles, including the newly reformed Spirit of LR Marching Band where I was the Head Drum Major for three years.  Music is a very physical thing as well as a very abstract thing.  In my lessons, there will be kennistetic learning through movement as well as teaching through sensation. Using tools like Solfege it helps create muscle memory and tuning. Piano students will learn a wealth of theory knowledge, correct posture and fingering patterns. I will also encourage singing in my piano lessons to reaffirm the student's aural skills. The Alexander Technique is also something that my students will explore in our lessons. Read More

I was the Concert Choir section leader in College and found leadership and spreading my love for music to be exhilarating! I encourage all of my students to set a reasonable practice schedule to get themselves into the habit of practicing and really reaching their full potential as a student. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2013 with a BS in Vocal Performance. I was in a world renowned children's choir back home in PR, called San Juan Children's Choir, for 10 years.
