I have occasionally taught lessons during brief stints off of the road, but playing on the road has been my primary job for most of my adult life. I have almost 30 years of experience as a recording and performing musician. I studied in Detroit, London and Los Angeles, and recieved my BA in music and Performing Arts in 20011. Since then I have made a living writing pop songs and movie soundtracks, performing and teaching. My teaching style is relaxed but focused. Understanding that each student develops at his or her own pace, I am patient and willing to answer any questions as we move along. I will set a goal for each lesson, and provide material to practice in between meetings. It's important to me that I find out what the student's goals are to ensure we are heading in the right direction.
