I have been playing the cello since just before 6th grade and have played consistently until college where I continue to play solos and in an ensemble. I am currently attending Austin Community College for a degree in Music Composition. My method is based on each student's age, skill level, enthusiasm/interest level, and their wants/needs. For beginner students, it is important to start with the basic fundamentals and techniques, but once those are mastered, there is more freedom to explore. For intermediate students, we work on filling in gaps they may have in their current understanding of music/guitar, and anything else they want to work toward. I am currently in the Doctoral program at University of Arizona. I received Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University studying under Dr. David Begnoche. Also, received my Masters degree from Cleveland State University studying with Shachar Israel, Assistant Principal Trombone of the Cleveland Orchestra, and hold Bachelor degrees from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and Kasetsart University, where my teachers were Shannon Pittaway and Teerapol Submool. The skills you will learn in my studio will help you get into college, find a job (with better interviewing skills), and express yourself.
