I began teaching during the Summer in high school, mostly for kids I babysat. However, when my sister booked the national tour of The Sound of Music, my clientele expanded to include mostly Broadway kids. In the past couple years, my students have been seen on Broadway/tour in shows such as A Bronx Tale, School of Rock, and Anastasia. In voice, I let my students' goals guide their lessons. Whether it be stage performance, studio recording or personal satisfaction, I will use a variety of techniques to help them reach their individual goals. In violin and viola, I teach the Suzuki method combined with some contemporary and fun improvisation. I teach theory, but also how to communicate with musicians in general.
