Once students have a solid grasp of the basics, I introduce age-appropriate solo repertoire to develop confidence and prepare them for their first recital performance. I've worked with children in various settings including the YMCA, local Sports Teams, and youth programs at several churches. I've taught music for 6 years and have enjoyed it since. I like to encourage those students who enjoy music as much as I do, to get involved in other music programs in the community, at school, or even at church, that way their gifts can be shared with others.
