We focus on technique first, but my students get to choose the style of music they would like to learn! Whether that be musical theatre, pop, RB, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Rock, Classical/Opera, students are cultivated to bring out the best in their voices. If a student isn't having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job! My approach to teaching emphasizes the importance of patience and forming building blocks that will take the student to where they want to go, over time. I like to encourage my students by focusing on small victories that happen in each lesson so that they are inspired to accomplish more and more as our lessons continue. I have a friendly, no-pressure approach to teaching and I want my students to feel as comfortable as possible not only to be amazing singers and performers, but to also be equipped accordingly to handle snags or setbacks that may happen along the way.
